Who is eligible?
Graduates in any stream. A background in physiotherapy, physical education, life sciences or sport helps but is not required, and there is no entrance exam.
How is it different from the BSc in Sports Sciences?
The BSc is a 3-year UGC undergraduate degree for students coming out of 12th. The PG Diploma is a one-year postgraduate qualification for people who already hold a degree and want applied skills quickly.
Is there practical lab work?
Yes. The programme is built around applied testing and field work — fitness testing protocols, movement screening, programme design and data interpretation on real athletes.
Is an internship included?
Yes — a six-month supervised placement, guaranteed, at no additional charge.
Can I study this by distance instead?
The Distance Diploma and Distance Masters in Sports Sciences cover the theory fully online. The classroom PG Diploma is the option if you want the lab and field practicals.
